Got an email from a customer the other day that I’m still grinning about.
They’re heading to Cannes. Not as visitors, not for a panel, but with a feature film in the festival. And they told me Spark is what made it possible. Their words, not mine.
Last year we were at Cannes as an official selection at Cannes Next, the festival’s innovation showcase, where Spark was chosen a premiere technology for filmmakers and creatives. It was a huge honour, but in that moment, we were the story.
This year, we’re not the story.
We’re the infrastructure that helped a small, agile team deliver a feature against the kind of timeline and budget that would have crushed most studios a few years ago. They focused on the work. Spark handled the rest.
That is exactly the arc we built for and it has been at the core of what we do from day one.
Twelve months between those two moments. And honestly, that’s what everything we’ve been building has been pointing toward. Not Spark as the headline. Spark as the thing that lets actual filmmakers do impossible things on impossible deadlines and still make Cannes.
Huge congratulations to the team at IMAGO VFX. We’re cheering you on.
